Information

• Read through all of the instructions before starting installation.

• Notifications and warning texts are for your safety and to minimise the risk of something breaking during installation.

• Ensure that all tools stated in the instructions are available before starting installation.

• Certain steps in the instructions are only presented in the form of images. Explanatory text is also given for more complicated steps.

Color symbols

1. Used for focused component, the component with which you will do something.

2. Used as extra colors when you need to show or differentiate additional parts.

3. Used for attachments that are to be removed/installed. May be screws, clips, connectors, etc.

4. Used when the component is not fully removed from the vehicle but only hung to the side.

5. Used for standard tools and special tools.

6. Used as background color for vehicle components.

Removal

Remove the marked part.

Remove the screws.

Remove the screws.

Repeat on the other side.

Disconnect the connector.

Remove the screws.

Repeat on the other side.

Clean the surface.

Accessory installation

Install component that comes with the accessory kit.

Install tow bar connector and wiring harness according to installation instruction: Towbar, Wiring and Control Unit.

Repeat on the other side.

Install the screws.

Accessory installation

Vehicles with skidplate (accessory)

Locate relevant marking.

Apply tape to the other side, opposite the marking lines.

Remove the marked part.

Use: Air-powered keyhole saw

Deburr edges

Measure and mark as illustrated.

Drill the holes.

Install component that comes with the accessory kit.

Place the component where indicated in the graphic.

Locate the markings for the positions.

Drill one hole and fit one pop rivet at a time, in accordance with the sequence illustrated.

Install component that comes with the accessory kit.

Install component that comes with the accessory kit.

Scribe/mark up

Apply tape to the other side, opposite the marking lines.

Remove the marked part.

Take the label from the kit and attach it to the underneath of the cargo compartment mat as illustrated.

Take the label from the kit and attach it to the underneath of the cargo compartment mat as illustrated.

Attach the four corners of the label using staples.
