With the Wallbox, you can charge your electric vehicle up to 11 kW or your plug-in hybrid/Twin Engine up to 3.5 kW.
The Wallbox comes with an integrated 5-metre charging cable with a Type 2 socket (IEC 62196).
The Wallbox charging station can be installed on a wall indoors or outdoors close to where your car is parked. You can also purchase a pedestal to install the Wallbox on if there is no wall surface available.
The Wallbox also has a connection function via LAN/RFID and supports communication with third-party cloud solutions via OCPP1.6.
The Wallbox also includes dynamic handling for charging current to prevent blowing a fuse. It also has MID meters and supports load-balancing functionality.
Up to nine Wallboxes can be connected to the communication box at a time, and when more than one Wallbox is connected, the box manages load balancing between them.
You can use the Wallbox to charge up to 32 A three phase, provided that this is supported by the property's electrical system. The charging time depends on what charge the car has from the start.
Dynamic LED lighting on the front of the Wallbox illuminates in different colours in order to clearly indicate charging status, for example.

Installation of Wallbox must be performed by a certified electrician. To install the Wallbox the property must be equipped with a TN network1 with neutral wire. For correct connection voltages, see the installation manual. Contact your Volvo dealer for more information.
