A practical lockable box under the center armrest, designed for temporary storage of valuables. Perfect for when such valuables cannot be carried, e.g. on the beach or when jogging.
The box is not visible from the outside when the armrest is folded down, and its location makes it possible to discretely place valuable things in. The box is screwed in the car to prevent theft.
Two keys are supplied with the box. Note that extra keys cannot be ordered from Volvo.
The storage box cannot be combined with the coin holder because they use the same location under the center armrest.

It is recommended for concealment that the storage box is only used in combination with the center arm rest.
The storage compartment can be combined with the integrated phone on the condition that the handset is parked on the top of the center console. This is possible using the accessory holder, see Phone, integrated. The combination is not possible in the XC70.
