A smaller, lighter key tag for cars equipped with keyless locking and unlocking.
This Key Tag works in the same way as a regular remote control key for keyless locking and unlocking. With this smaller remote control key, you as a car owner do not have to carry your regular remote control key as it is just as easy to unlock doors, tailgate and fuel filler flap with the smaller one. The smaller size of the key makes it ideal to take with you during sports activities as it neither takes up space nor weighs much.
The key is waterproof to a depth of 10 metres for up to 60 minutes making it ideal to carry with you during water activities. As the key does not have a detachable key blade or buttons, you do not have to worry about it getting damaged under water or during other sports activities.

Note!
Be aware of the risk of locking the remote control key in the car.
A Key Tag that is left in the car will be deactivated when the car is locked and alarmed with another valid key. The key is reactivated again when the car is unlocked.
Note!
The battery cannot be replaced because it is a closed unit. A new remote control key must be purchased from your authorised Volvo dealer when the battery no longer works. A drained Key Tag must be handed in to an authorised Volvo workshop. The key must be erased from the car because it can still be used to start the car via back-up start.
