DAB digital radio makes it possible to enjoy digital radio in your car, with interference free reception and superb sound quality. It also gives access to a large selection of unique radio stations.
DAB+ means even better sound quality than previous DAB and more radio stations can be received. The DAB+ system can also be used on standard DAB markets. The advantage of digital radio compared with analogue radio is digital radio gives the possibility of more stations and greater sound quality. It makes it easier to find and navigate between channels. The digital transmissions also make it possible to receive text news and program information on the radio display, for example, program type, program name, artist information and song title. The system now supports both DAB and DAB+. The new DAB/DAB+ devices can be installed in older DAB cars to permit DAB+ reception on DAB+ markets.ยน

Preparation in car required (option code 683). If the car is not equipped with the preparatory installation then "DAB/DAB+ Digital Radio (DAB), preparation installation" must be installed before "DAB/DAB+ Digital radio" is added. "DAB/DAB+ Digital radio (DAB), preparatory installation" cannot be fitted in cars with Plug-in Hybrid/Twin Engine.
- Must be downloaded first.
- When retro-fitting DAB/DAB+, the DAB application must be downloaded. When upgrading from DAB to DAB+, a DAB reload is required. Ordered according to separate procedure and downloaded using VIDA.
