• Open the boot lid.

• Set the ignition key to position 0.

• Remove the panel.

• Remove the panel.

• Carefully pry loose the panel with air blower at the lower edge and then all the way around. The panel is secured by clips on the sides and at the top and with catches on the lower edge.

• Pull out the panel and disconnect the connector for the hazard warning lights.

• Remove the screws.

• Remove the screws.

• Fold the floor mat to one side by the left-hand side of the tunnel console.

• Loosen the clips on the cable harness from the tunnel console.

• Disconnect the connector for the CCM.

• Disconnect the connector for the keypad for Four-C.

• Release the shift-lock function.

• Move the gear selector to position "D".

• Carefully pry off the centre console panel starting on both sides at the rear edge. It is secured by two clips along the long sides. On manual gearboxes, the gear lever boot is secured by four catches (1) around the gear lever panel, (Image B).

• Lift it up slightly and make sure that all cables are free from the gear lever carrier and components in the tunnel console, and lift it out.

• Carefully pull the media player out, disconnect the connectors and place to one side.

• Detach and pull out the display.

• Disconnect the connectors for the cables from the display. If there is no connection (1), place the display to one side and replace with a new one. Otherwise it is reused.

• In cases where a connector is connected to the designated position, loosen the connector and fold back the cable and secure the connector to the existing cable harness.

• Unplug the connectors.

• Remove the wiper arm.

• Repeat the operation on the other side.

• Remove the screws.

• Remove the wiper motor.

• Remove the nuts.

• Remove the panel.

• Place the panel to one side. A new panel can be found in the kit.

• Slacken off the screws.

• Carry out on both sides.

• Remove the rubber strip.

• Remove the rubber strip.

• Carefully pull off the panel in the middle!

• Unhook the panel from the lower edge of the A-pillar panel.

• Carefully pry off the rear panel, and remove both panel sections.

• Push holes into the carpet for the locating holes for the control module bracket. Holes to the bracket are in the member. Enlarge the holes so the locating lugs go through.

• Press the bracket's locating lugs into the holes.

• Drill through the bracket and carpet.

• Remove bracket.

• Fold the carpet up.

• Drill out the holes from both sides.

• Remove any swarf.

• Rivet the nuts.

• Take the camera and new pendulum from the kit and secure the camera.

• Install a new seal on the camera.

• Install the other new seals in the panel. Check the old panel so that the seals are correctly positioned.

• Reinstall the panel.

• Remove the left rubber grommet from the boot lid and body.

• Take cable harness A, connect the connector to the camera and route the cable harness along the existing cable harness out to the left-hand side of the boot lid.

• Secure at the existing cable harness using cable ties.

• Continue to route the cable harness inside the left-hand side of the boot lid.

• Route it through the removed rubber grommet and out.

• Secure at the existing cable harness using a cable tie. If necessary, use tension springpart no. 9512932 to route the cable through.

• Push the contact into the supplied receptacle housing so that it locks securely.

• Press the grey lock into the isolator.

• Route the cable harness from the rubber grommet at the rear edge of the body along the existing cable harness down to the floor.

• Clamp using cable ties.

• Continue to route the cable inside the insulation panel and out on the floor along the existing cable harness. If necessary, use tension spring part no. 9512932 to route the cable through.

• Route the cable harness along the existing cable harness, under the insulation and up to the rear seat.

• Secure using cable ties.

• Route the cable under the insulation in the luggage compartment and rear seat and at the cable duct and out along the left-hand rear door.

• Route the cable inside the lower B-pillar panel and carpet to the carpet joint at the left-hand front door.

• Route the existing cable (1) to the control module's power supply (under the carpet) and place it in the hole in the carpet.

• Take the remaining cable harness (B), place it in the hole in the carpet. Route under the carpet up towards the hole for the display.

• Continue to route the cable inside the centre console and up to the location for the display. If necessary, use tension spring part no. 9512932 to pull the cable through. Route the cable between both air ducts. Ensure that the cables are routed so they are not at risk of being cut off.

• Ensure that all cables are placed in the hole in the carpet, and allow a 350 mm piece to protrude from it.

• Tighten the control module to the bracket.

• Connect the connectors to the control module.

• Clamp down the cables.

Check that the cable harness does not hang and touch the newly installed control module.

Push up and secure the cable harness as necessary.

• Plug in the connectors.

• Connect the newly routed cable to the display.

• Install the display and tighten.

• Carefully pry loose the dummy and place it to one side.
