There is no problem playing music with the USB and iPod® Music Interface even if not all of the files on the USB unit are music files. The player will ignore everything but music files.
Note!
Only USB products of the type "USB mass storage device" with FAT 16/32 file system can be used. There are a large number of USB products on the market. A large number cannot be read by the USB and iPod® Music Interface. In these cases it is evident from the display that the connected unit cannot be played. Try an alternative USB device instead.
Note!
From and including Chassis number 093318- for the V70 and Chassis number 0604898- for the XC70, a USB will be factory fitted for audio levels Premium Sound and High Performance.
- With cable for USB and iPod® both can be charged at the same time, however, only one can be played at a time.
