On cold winter days or hot summer days you can enjoy a comfortable temperature immediately at the start of your trip.
With "Remote engine start" the car's engine can be started remotely using the car key. When the engine is started, the passenger compartment is heated up or cooled down to a comfortable temperature. Maximum running time is 15 minutes. The engine can then be started remotely once more.

Facts and advantages
The engine can be remotely started with the car key.
The passenger compartment is preconditioned upon departure.
Upon activation, the same temperature settings are applied as when the car was parked.

Note!
For cars of model year 2012 with "Personal Car Communicator" (key with six buttons) there is no light indication that the engine has been started - no lamp lights up on the remote control. From and including model year 2013 light indication is included in the remote key.
Note!
"Remote engine start" cannot be combined with "Remote start for fuel-powered heater".
