Color symbols

1. Used for focused component, the component with which you will do something.

2. Used as extra colors when you need to show or differentiate additional parts.

3. Used for attachments that are to be removed/installed. May be screws, clips, connectors, etc.

4. Used when the component is not fully removed from the vehicle but only hung to the side.

5. Used for standard tools and special tools.

6. Used as background color for vehicle components.

Removal

Raise the car.

On both sides.

Remove the nut.

Use: Vernier caliper

Remove the nut.

Note the position.

Use special tool: T9997021, Distance to 9997020

Use special tool: T9997020, Counterhold

Tightening torque: M8 , 24 Nm

Use special tool: T9997019, Lock key (850, X40, X70, V70 2000-, S60, S80)

Accessory installation

Installation

Use: 1161053, Thread locker normal

Tightening torque: Inner steering joint for steering gear , 85 Nm

Note the position.

Use: , soap solution

Tighten the hose clamp.

Use: Vernier caliper

Tightening torque: Track rod end to track rod , 90 Nm

Tightening torque: Front stabilizer bar link to strut and spring assembly , 60 Nm

Applies when changing to 17x7,5 inch wheels
