On cold winter days or hot summer days, you can enjoy a comfortable temperature right from the very start of your trip.
With "Remote engine start," the vehicle's engine can be started remotely using the vehicle's key. When the engine is started, the passenger compartment is heated up or cooled down to a comfortable temperature. The maximum running time is 15 minutes. The engine can then be started remotely once more.

Facts and advantages
The engine can be remotely started with the vehicle's key.
The passenger compartment is preconditioned upon departure.
Upon activation, the same temperature settings are applied as when the vehicle was parked.

Note!
For vehicles of model year 2012 with "Personal Car Communicator" (key with six buttons), there is no light indication that the engine has been started – no light illuminates on the remote key.
Note!
"Remote engine start" cannot be combined with "Remote start for fuel-powered heater."
"Remote engine start" cannot be combined with "Electric hybrid, preconditioning."
