Information

When installing, the car must retain a temperature of 20 degrees C.

There may be parts in the accessories kit that are not needed for this installation.

Color symbols

Disconnecting the battery

Open the tailgate.

Remove the panel.

Remove the battery's negative cable.

Make sure that the components are not mixed up at the installation.

Remove the marked part.

Repeat on the other side.

Remove the screws.

Fold the wing liner aside.

Repeat on the other side.

Remove the part carefully

Release the catches.

Remove the part carefully

Loosen the clips.

Remove the part carefully

Release the catches.

Repeat the steps when removing on opposite side.

Locate the connector.

Release the connector's catch.

Disconnect the connector.

Remove the screws.

Accessory installation

Tightening torque: Tow hitch member mounting to body frame
Stage 1: 50 Nm
Stage 2: 30 Degree

Position/route the wiring harness as illustrated.

Install the wiring harness.

Removal

   Tightening torque: Panel, to D-Pillar , 4.5 Nm
   

Remove the panel.

Check that the fasteners are undamaged before installation. If not, they must be replaced with new ones.

Remove the nut.

Remove the screws.

Tightening torque: Cargo anchor, to body , 13 Nm

Vehicles with air suspension

Loosen the component indicated. Do not remove it.

Use: Interior trim remover

Disconnect the connector.

Vehicles with TV-receiver

Detach the panel.

Disconnect the connectors.

Disconnect the connectors.

Remove the screws.

Remove the nut.

Lift the marked component up

Remove the marked part.

Release the catch.

Remove the marked part.

Fold the insulation aside.

Locate the rubber grommet under the insulation and press it out.

The part is not to be reused.

Accessory installation

Remove the marked part.

Install component that comes with the accessory kit.

Route the wiring harness into the passenger compartment.

Fasten the wiring harness using the existing clips.

Route the cable harness to the existing cable harness.

Tighten the cable tie.

Ground connection

Remove the nut.

Connect the prerouted cable.

Tighten the nut.

Tightening torque: M6 , 10 Nm

Cut marked area.

Locate relevant marking.

Place the template according to image

Apply tape to the other side, opposite the marking lines.

Remove the marked part.

Deburr edges
