INTRODUCTION

  • Read through all of the instructions before starting installation.

  • Notifications and warning texts are for your safety and to minimise the risk of something breaking during installation.

  • Ensure that all tools stated in the instructions are available before starting installation.

  • Certain steps in the instructions are only presented in the form of images. Explanatory text is also given for more complicated steps.

  • In the event of any problems with the instructions or the accessory, contact your local Volvo dealer.

  

Note!

The sun blinds open using spring force


 

Side sun blind

Side sun blind

  • Open the side window completely

  • Pull off the rubber strip from the corner of the door arch.

  • Press the four clips into place on the panel edge where the rubber strip is secured. See the illustration

  • Press the rubber strip back on the panel edge in the door arch.

  • Close the side window

  • Hold the side sun blind up against the side window. Ensure that the Volvo decal is towards the rear of the car and secured at the top edge

  • Secure the sun blind in the clips on the door arch.

  • Repeat the operation on the other side window.

Packing up the sun blind

  • Grip two diagonal corners and twist the sun blind as illustrated. Minimal force is required to fold the sun blind.
