INTRODUCTION

  • Read through all of the instructions before starting installation.

  • Notifications and warning texts are for your safety and to minimise the risk of something breaking during installation.

  • Ensure that all tools stated in the instructions are available before starting installation.

  • Certain steps in the instructions are only presented in the form of images. Explanatory text is also given for more complicated steps.

  • In the event of any problems with the instructions or the accessory, contact your local Volvo dealer.

  • Work from inside the car. Remove the centre section of the backrest by pulling the opening handle, then pull straight up so that it detaches from the lower bracket.

  • Detach the retaining strap for the puncture repair kit's compressor if fitted. Remove the compressor.

  • Open the boot lid/tailgate.

  • Lift up the cargo compartment partition.

  • Squeeze the lock together on the hatch next to the passenger compartment and open the hatch.

  • Insert the ski bag in the opening.

  • Press at the points indicated until a click is heard that confirms attachment into the frame.

  • Open the catches on the straps.

  • Pull the ski bag to its full length.

  • Secure the ski bag's spring hook into the bracket.
