Fender extensions are standard from and including model year 2011 and 20" rims are included in the European whole vehicle type approval.
For cars built up to and including model year 2010 20" rims are not included in the European whole vehicle type approval and therefore require national approval within Europe and then only in combination with Fender extensions due to wheel protrusion.
