The function means that the doors are automatically locked in the normal locked position (not blocked position) when the speed exceeds 7 km/h (4 mph).

If the doors are unlocked using the central lock button while travelling, the doors remain unlocked until the ignition is switched off.

If any of the doors are unlocked using the lock button or by opening the door from the inside, for example when climbing out, the door is locked again when the speed exceeds 7 km/h (4 mph).

CHANGE IN ACTIVATION LOGIC FOR PARKING ASSISTANCE¹

There is an option of changing the activation logic for parking assistance via VIDA. With such a change, the parking assistance will be disabled at 15 km/h (9 mph) as in the original version. The system is only reactivated, however, when the button is pushed or reverse gear is engaged, unlike the original system in which the system is reactivated once vehicle speed drops below 10 km/h (6 mph). The system is always enabled during a new driving cycle.

  1. Ordered according to separate procedures and downloaded using VIDA.
