The extra charging cable makes your everyday life more flexible and comes with different connectors to fit your specific needs.

Charging of the car is monitored by two-way communication between the car and the control box. When the cable is connected to the power source, self-test diagnostics are performed to ensure that the cable is properly connected and is ready to supply the car with power. The control box is integrated into the charging cable and is plugged into an ordinary power socket. The cable is supplied with an adapter to enable charging at Level 1 and Level 2.

Charging with Level 1. NEMA 5-15P. Charging with 120V and 12A.

Charging with Level 2. NEMA 6-20P. Charging with 240V and 16A.

Charging with Level 2. NEMA 14-50P. Charging with 240V and 40A.

Facts and advantages

  • The cable must not be repaired or spliced as this can affect its safety and function.

  • IP6K7 protection rated.

  • The cable can withstand a load of 500 kg in the event of being driven over.

  • The control box does not power the cable until it is correctly connected and the car is ready to receive current.

  • The cable's control box has an integrated earth fault circuit breaker. In the event of an earth fault, the current is switched off.
