The Volvo towbar has a unique design for the S80, S60 and V70 00- and is in harmony with the lines of the car.

The towbar been thoroughly tested, both in the laboratory and on the test track and fulfils Volvo's stringent requirements for quality and strength.

The towbar is surface treated in several stages for optimum corrosion protection.

The cars are fully prepared for fixed towbar as well as detachable by means of welded nuts in the bodywork and clear marking for cutting out in the bumper cover.

Fixed towbar

The fixed towbar is supplied complete with all the required bolts, nuts, an electrical bracket and the installation instructions. The bracket for the safety cable is clearly located and easily accessible.

Detachable towbar

The detachable towbar is easy to remove and install as required. Simply remove it when it is not in use and all that is visible is the matching protective cover that lies flush with the bumper. The towball has a lock, for theft prevention.

The detachable towbar is supplied with the required bolts, nuts, electrical bracket, protective cover, storage bag for the ball mechanism, grease tube 10 g, operating instructions, decals and installation instructions. The bracket for the safety cable is clearly located and easily accessible.
