INTRODUCTION

  • Read through all of the instructions before starting installation.

  • Notifications and warning texts are for your safety and to minimise the risk of something breaking during installation.

  • Ensure that all tools stated in the instructions are available before starting installation.

  • Certain steps in the instructions are only presented in the form of images. Explanatory text is also given for more complicated steps.

  • In the event of any problems with the instructions or the accessory, contact your local Volvo dealer.

  

Note!

Applies to trim panels that are only primed. Painting must be carried out in accordance with the Service Manual "Touch up spraying" section 8 (80). Note that the trim panel must be cleaned, ground and then cleaned again before painting in accordance with the instructions in the Service Manual.

  • Detach the existing bumper by carefully prizing at the lower edge, between bumper and bumper cover, using a plastic weatherstrip tool. Following which, pull the bumper straight out so that the catches release.

  • Align the new bumper from the kit and press it in.


    Note!

    Make sure that all of the catches engage.
