Remote start is an indispensable accessory on cold winter days when you want to turn on the heater without having to go out to the car. If there is an existing fuel-driven heater the car's software can be upgraded with the remote start function. With the push of a button on the car key the heater is started and the car acknowledges this by a flash of the lights.

"Remote start, fuel-driven heater" cannot be combined with "Remote start engine".
Note!
For 2012 model year cars with "Personal Car Communicator" (key with six buttons) there is no light indication that shows that the engine heater has started - no lamp illuminates on the remote control. If light indication is required the key must be replaced with one for 2013 model year or later. No other functions of "Remote start, fuel-driven heater" are affected.
