Volvo On Call can help to make everyday life a little less complicated. Volvo On Call is a smartphone app with many smart solutions that allow you to keep track of the status of your car while out and about on the roads.
Volvo On Call consists of the following functions:
Lock and unlock: Lock and unlock the car using remote control, wherever you are. You can also check whether windows and doors are open or closed.
Climate control: Preheat the passenger compartment while the car is parked using smart remote controlled solutions.
Send destination: Send the route and destination to the car's navigation system (provided that the car is specified with the navigation option).
Driving journal: Log start and finish points, mileage, time and fuel consumption.
Emergency situations and support: If you need assistance on the road, Volvo On Call will be able to provide support such as roadside assistance, emergency support, automatic collision alarm, as well as theft notification and stolen vehicle tracking.

Only for cars with eCall.
To obtain ERS (Engine Remote Start), the "Application, Engine Remote Start" option needs to be specified.
The car must be equipped with a fuel heater in order to be able to preheat the passenger compartment using Volvo on Call. If the car is not equipped with timer function, the "Application, Timer for fuel-powered heater" option needs to be specified.

There may be a delay of up to 48 hours before the functions are available in the app once installation is complete.
Note!
This offer does not include SIM card holder and it is therefore not possible to connect or share internet via the car. It is also not possible to use applications in the car's infotainment system that require network connection. For this to work, an external internet connection from a mobile phone, for example, is required.
