Function
The phone uses dual band technology, which means that it can use both 900 MHz and 1800 MHz for GSM.
The advantages of two frequency bands are:
- increased capacity in cities
- net coverage improves
- the phone can shift between frequencies automatically
Example of possible functions during calls:
- Receive information through sound signal, for incoming calls.
- Select whether to put the current call on hold.
- Connect the conversations and all talk together in a three-way conversation.
- Switch between the two conversations.
- Display the IMEI number (the serial number of the GSM module).
- Select if the car radio shall be completely or partially muted during the call.
When installing as an accessory, the swan neck microphone is installed in the head restraint.
The phone system is equipped with ASC, which means that the noise level in the speaker is adjusted automatically after the car speed to compensate for road noise. ACS can be disconnected from the menu functions of the phone system.
The antenna is installed against the windshield in front of the rearview mirror.
The privacy handset can be used for private conversations when the handsfree function is not required.
The Calling Card management function is available in the menu system.

The phone is operable when the ignition switch is in position I or II. The call is cancelled after a 5-second delay when the ignition key is turned from position I to 0.
9 speed dial numbers can be programmed.
