Tire Pressure Monitoring System (iTPMS)1 is a monitoring system for the tire pressure. A correctly inflated tire means less tire wear, better fuel consumption and safer driving.
The TPMS system uses the car's ABS system to monitor the tire pressure levels. When the system detects an incorrect tire pressure, the driver receives information in the driver display. The driver is also notified about which of the car's tires has incorrect tire pressure.
