The following products are included in Urban Luxury with "Running board":
Front skid plate A styling element for the front of the car that gives a robust look and enhances the car's attitude. A unique lower spoiler available in all exterior car colours and which has a fully integrated skid plate in brushed stainless steel. In addition, a lower black-painted grille is included with a unique pattern that replaces the car's standard-fitted lower grille.
Front decor frame A unique and exclusive accessory that strengthens the dynamic appearance of the front of the car. "Front decor frame" has several areas with a chrome finish and a unique painted grille pattern to perfectly match the car's other styling elements. These decor frames replace the car's standard-fitted front decor frames.
Integrated running board with illumination An exclusive and stylish running board that enhances the car's luxurious look. "Integrated running board with illumination" makes it easier to enter and exit the car and to load the car's roof. It has LED-illuminated strips on its outer edge which show where to place your foot, and which give the car a cool appearance. The lighting is coordinated with the car's interior light logic1. The running board is mainly made of strong aluminium for the lowest possible weight and high resistance, which can withstand a weight of 300 kg. The surface of the running board consists of brushed stainless steel and everything is framed in a colour-matched plastic panel to match the exterior of the car. To reduce the risk of slipping on the running board, rubber anti-slip protection is integrated in the metal section. The running board replaces the car's standard-fitted sill mouldings.
Body kit for sides. A highly visible and exclusive body kit that consists of door mouldings and fender extensions that are available in all of the car's exterior colours. This body kit enhances the car's luxurious appearance and SUV character.
Rear skid plate. A unique rear styling element which is highly visible and exclusive. It consists of a colour-matched lower bumper section with an integrated skid plate in brushed stainless steel with fully integrated exhaust end pipes at each end. These exhaust end pipes also include unique twin end pipes that give a powerful and exclusive look.

If the car is ordered from the factory with option code (999) for "Integrated running board with illumination", the enclosed wiring does not need to be used.

For cars equipped with touch-free power-operated tailgate, the sensor is moved from the centre of the rear bumper to the left-hand corner of the rear bumper when installing this styling kit. See Figure 4.
Note!
For the best finish over time, we recommend that all metal parts are cleaned and waxed on a regular basis. This is particularly important during winter due to the effects of road salt. To clean and maintain plastic parts, e.g. LED-illuminated strips, a special cleaning agent is recommended, which is available at your local Volvo dealer.
