Information

• Read through all of the instructions before starting installation.

• Notifications and warning texts are for your safety and to minimise the risk of something breaking during installation.

Conditions

There may be parts in the accessories kit that are not needed for this installation.

Color symbols

1. Used for focused component, the component with which you will do something.

2. Used as extra colors when you need to show or differentiate additional parts.

3. Used for attachments that are to be removed/installed. May be screws, clips, connectors, etc.

4. Used when the component is not fully removed from the vehicle but only hung to the side.

5. Used for standard tools and special tools.

6. Used as background color for vehicle components.

7. Used for accessory components.

Preparation

Turn off the ignition.

Removal

Open the hood.

Release the lock.

Repeat on the other side.

Remove the marked part.

Remove the screw.

Tightening torque: Seat belt guide, to Bracket , 4.4 Nm

Remove the panel.

Release the catch.

Remove the marked part.

Remove the panel.

Open the tailgate.

Use: Interior trim remover

Remove the nut.

Repeat on the other side.

   Tightening torque: Sill moulding without cargo anchor , 8 Nm

   Tightening torque: Sill moulding with cargo anchor , 24 Nm
   

Loosen the marked detail.

Remove the marked part.

Disconnect the connector.

Remove the nuts.

Remove the clips.

Remove the marked part.

Fold marked part aside.

Remove the marked part.

Use special tool: T9995919, PULLER (SEAL-PINION,CAM-CRANKSHAFT)B200-6304

Remove the screw.

Tightening torque: Cargo anchor, to body , 24 Nm

Remove the panel.

Disconnect the connector.

Remove the panel.

Disconnect the connector.

Remove the marked part.

Remove the panel.

Disconnect the connector, if applicable.

Remove the marked part.

Loosen the component indicated. Do not remove it.

Remove the panel.

Remove the screws.

Tightening torque: ,

Remove the screws.

Tightening torque: ,

Disconnect the connector.

Unhook the cable harness clips.

Remove the screws.

Fold marked part aside.

Tightening torque: M6 , 10 Nm

Loosen the screws.

Remove the panel.

Remove the panel.

Loosen the clip.

Fold the carpet aside.

Disconnecting the battery

Tightening torque: Battery cable for battery , 6 Nm

Vehicles with driver's knee airbag

Remove the screws.

Remove the screws.

Tightening torque: Airbag to bracket , 5.5 Nm

Remove the marked part.

Release the connector catches.

Disconnect the connectors.

All vehicles

Loosen the screws.

Detach the panel.

Disconnect the connector.

Remove the panel.

Remove the marked part.

The part is to be reused.

Remove the screw.

Tightening torque: Accelerator pedal, to Floor , 6.5 Nm

Remove the marked part.

Release the connector's catch.

Disconnect the connector.

Remove the marked part.

Loosen the marked detail/details.

Remove the nuts.

Tightening torque: Windshield wiper arm , 38 Nm

Remove the marked part.

Use special tool: T9997515, Puller

On both sides.

Repeat on the other side.

Remove the marked part.

Remove the marked part.

Use special tool: T9997077, Jimmy bar

Repeat on the other side.

Remove the clips.

Remove the marked part.

Repeat on the other side.

Remove the marked part.

Remove the clips.

Repeat on the other side.

Remove the screws.

Tightening torque: M6 , 10 Nm

Disconnect the connectors.

Loosen the marked details.

Release the locks.

Loosen the marked details.

Fold marked part aside.

Loosen the marked detail.

Remove the marked part.

Remove the screws.

Remove the marked part.

Tightening torque: M5 , 5 Nm

Disconnect the connector.

Remove the marked part.

The part is not to be reused.

Remove the nut.

Tightening torque: M6 , 10 Nm

Release the locks.

Fold marked part aside.

Release the connector's catch.

Disconnect the connector.

Remove the screws.

Remove the screws.

Remove the nut.

Tightening torque: M8 , 24 Nm

Fold marked part aside.

Accessory installation

Depress the locking device.

Release the connector's catch.

Release the catches.

Remove the marked part.

View from below

Connect the connector.

Position/route the cable as illustrated.

View from above.

Make a hole, using the tool indicated.

Pull the wiring through.

Use: Welding rod

Remove the cable tie(s).

Depress the locking device.

Remove the marked part.

Connect the cable harness terminals in the connector as follows.

Position/route the cable as illustrated.

Position/route the cable as illustrated.

Install the cable.

Use a cable tie

Make a hole, using the tool indicated.

Pull the wiring through.

Use: Welding rod

Connect the cable harness terminals in the connector as follows.

Install component that comes with the accessory kit.

Position/route the cable as illustrated.

Install the cable.

Position the cable harness excess as illustrated.

Route the wire adjacent to existing wirings.

Install the cable.

Remove the nut.

Connect the prerouted cable.

Install the nut.

Tightening torque: M6 , 10 Nm

Fold the carpet aside.

Position/route the cable as illustrated.

Install the cable.

Use tape

Position/route the cable as illustrated.

Install the cable.

Remove the marked part.

Position/route the cable as illustrated.

Install the cable.

Reinstall the removed part.
