INTRODUCTION

  • Read through all of the instructions before starting installation.

  • Notifications and warning texts are for your safety and to minimise the risk of something breaking during installation.

  • Ensure that all tools stated in the instructions are available before starting installation.

  • Certain steps in the instructions are only presented in the form of images. Explanatory text is also given for more complicated steps.

  • In the event of any problems with the instructions or the accessory, contact your local Volvo dealer.

Note!

Carry out the operation on both sides.


  • Remove the clips (1) by pressing in the centre of the clips

  • Remove the cover (2) for the door handle. Use a weatherstrip tool and start at the top or bottom edge

  • Remove the two screws (3) from under the cover

  • Remove the cover for the door mirror by pulling the cover (4) straight out

  • Disconnect the door panel by sliding the panel upwards and unhooking the top edge.

  • Remove the three connectors on the module for the door controls (1)

  • Remove the cable (2) from the door opener (3). First bend up the catches

  • Remove the panel.

Installing and finishing work

  • Disconnect the connector on the treble loudspeaker (1). If the car does not have a treble loudspeaker in the front door; remove the connector from the empty bracket

  • Remove the existing treble loudspeaker/empty bracket

  • Take the new treble loudspeaker and the accompanying bracket. Press the treble loudspeaker into the hole in the panel

  • Connect the cable (1) to the treble loudspeaker.

    Reinstall:

  • the connectors to the treble loudspeaker and the module for the door controls

  • the cable for the door opener

  • the door panel and components. See point .
