"Alcohol lock software" is software that makes it possible to activate a connected alcohol lock device that interacts with the vehicle's functions. It will then not be possible to start a vehicle that is equipped with an alcohol lock system if the air exhaled by the driver contains alcohol above the permitted limits. Through the integration with the vehicle's functions, you also get instructions and messages, such as when the vehicle will be able to be started, directly in the vehicle's center display.
This allows you to receive instructions and messages from the alcohol lock in the vehicle's center display. This may include information such as that the engine is ready to start or that you need to take a breath test.

The vehicle must be factory-equipped with option prep 601 (VDN 2N02) in order to install "Alcohol lock software".
